Paver Patio with Seat Wall Taking Shape in Cottage Grove

This backyard in Cottage Grove is in the middle of becoming something really special. We're laying RCP Windom pavers in Kodiak Sand - a color that has a clean, natural look without feeling cold or too modern. It reads well in a backyard setting, and it photographs beautifully too.

The double border is one of those details that separates a good patio from a great one. That darker edge framing the field of pavers gives the whole surface a finished, intentional look. It's the kind of thing that might not jump out at first glance, but you'd definitely notice if it weren't there.

We're also building a freestanding Brisa seat wall along the back. No need to drag chairs out every time you want to sit down.
